Jinyoung Park Kim is an internationally recognized violinist and violist known for her lyrical tone, technical depth, and cross-cultural training spanning Europe, Russia, and the U.S. A graduate of the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien, Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock, and Mannes School of Music, she has performed in major cultural capitals and venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Mozart Haus Wien.Alongside her solo and chamber career, Ms. Park Kim is a dedicated educator. She currently teaches at Mannes Prep and the Summit Music Festival, and will join the faculties of top international festivals in Spain, Italy, and France in 2026. Her students have earned top honors through YoungArts, NYO, From the Top, and have been accepted into elite conservatories and Ivy League universities — often with major scholarships.Her musical voice blends European refinement, Russian discipline, and American versatility, making her equally compelling on stage and in the studio.

Jinyoung Park Kim is a violinist and violist of international distinction, known for her expressive solo and chamber performances, elite European and Russian conservatory training, and transformative teaching that shapes the next generation of performers. With a career spanning some of the world’s most prestigious conservatories and concert halls, she brings a rare combination of technical finesse and interpretive depth shaped by her work across Europe, Russia, and the United States.A native of South Korea, Ms. Park Kim began her formal musical education at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien in Austria, earning both her pre-college and bachelor’s degrees. She continued her studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Rostock in Germany, completing both her master’s and postgraduate diplomas with unanimous top honors — a distinction awarded only to the most exceptional graduates. During this time, she was awarded the use of the “Joseph Rocca” violin by Professor Petru Munteanu in recognition of her promise as a soloist.As part of her European training, Ms. Park Kim completed a pivotal international exchange under Professor Raissa Mussakhajayeva of the Kazakh National University of Arts, gaining immersive experience in the Russian school of violin playing. This deepened her technical precision and broadened her interpretive voice, building on her Central European foundation.She later moved to New York City, where she earned a Professional Studies Diploma in viola from the Mannes School of Music (The New School), supported by a merit scholarship. Her primary teachers have included Choong-Jin Chang, Daniel Panner, Petru Munteanu, Maria Egelhof, Raissa Mussakhajayeva, Leonid Sorokow, Alexander Arenkow, Thomas Christian, and Wolfgang Sengstschmid. She has also participated in masterclasses with world-renowned musicians including Zakhar Bron, Michael Kugel, Dora Schwarzberg, and the Orion String Quartet.Ms. Park Kim has performed in major cultural capitals including Vienna, Salzburg, Paris, Leipzig, London, Berlin, Milan, Tokyo, and Seoul. In the U.S., she has appeared at venues such as Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall. Her recent sold-out viola recital at Carnegie Hall received critical acclaim for its expressive range and technical brilliance (New York Concert Review).In parallel with her performance career, Ms. Park Kim is a highly respected educator known for cultivating excellence. She currently serves on the faculty of Mannes Prep (The New School’s College of Performing Arts, NYC) and the Summit Music Festival (Purchase, NY).
